Teacher Highlight: Eunice Lee

Eunice Lee came to the United States from South Korea when she was 18 years old. She studied Linguistics at UCLA and worked on her Single Subject Teaching Credential in Korean Language and a supplementary credential in Mathematics from California State University in Long Beach. While teaching Korean language at Torrance High School for eleven years and Rowland High School for seven years, she studied at National University and received a M.A. in Education, with an emphasis in technology.

Eunice and her husband have one son named Timothy. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

This is Eunice’s second year working at Excel. She serves our families as an Educational Specialist. Being fluent in Korean, she helps many Korean speaking parents and students. She believes that every child has a great potential to learn and that an individualized education from homeschooling is valuable. She enjoys working with all staff members at Excel and is very proud to be a part of the Excel family. In addition, she likes to serve the community by volunteering at many events both from the Foundation for Korean Language and Culture in LA and the Brea Korea Sister City Association in Brea.
